Children's Book Week 2014: "A Great Nation Is a Reading Nation"

Children's Book Week is the longest-running literacy initiative in the U.S. To commenorate the 95th annual celebration of Children's Book Week (May 12-18, 2014), the American Corner organizes a paper show and book exhibit featuring the importance of the book week initiative then and now. The books on display include the authors and winning titles selected by young American readers of all ages, which are available to borrow at the American Corner. The Children's Book Council and Every Child A Reader launched the Children's & Teen Choice Awards in 2008
