Fulbright grantee Andrej Radic, will give a talk titled Discover America: The Landmarks, Ecology and Culture of the American Southwest.  Mr. Radic will speak on the environment and natural landmarks of the American southwest, particularly southern California, Arizona and New Mexico .

The presentation will explore major cities and their surrounding environments, national parks and monuments and the impact of the environment on the people and culture of the American southwest.

Andrej Radic is a native of San Diego, California. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of California Santa Barbara in 2012. He also holds a Master’s degree in History at San Diego State University. Andrej is currently finishing a Ph.D. program at the University of New Mexico, and is doing his research as a part of the 2019/2020 Fulbright History Research Award for research in order to study the effects of the economy on local feelings of security and stability in the Socialist Republic of Croatia from 1965-1990.
