Discover America: Washington, D.C.
Kahlil Epps, Fulbright ETA, will meet with a group of 7th and 8th grade students from the Dragutin Domjanić Primary School and the Stenjevec Primary School. The geographical, historical and cultural characteristics of Washington, D.C. will be presented and explored with students and their teachers. The students will learn about Washington, D.C. from the perspective of an African American and a native of DC.
Kahlil Epps graduated from Grinnell College with an English Major. Kahlil is a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Zagreb for 9 months. He grew up in Washington D.C. swimming and volunteering in his community. He has a passion for writing poetry. As Fulbright ETA Kahlil Epps is currently teaching at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb.

He has been recognized as a Scholar All-American Team Member, 2014-15, Dean's List recipient, 2017, and a District of Columbia Posse Scholar, 2014-2018.''
