LitLink with Elianna Kann and Buzz Poole

On Saturday afternoon, September 28, 2013, the American Corner of the Bogdan Ogrizović City Library organized a panel with American writers, editors and publishers Elianna Kann and Buzz Poole.
Moira Baker, a Fulbright Scholar, acted as a moderator with an introductory presentation on American women writers in American publishing industry. Nora Verde, the Croatian writer of a younger generation, shed light on the situation of women writers in Croatia today. Ivan Sršen, a Croatian editor and literary agent, representing the publisher and literary agency Sandorf , acted as a Croatian moderator on behalf of the organizers of the Festival.
The book exhibitions covering contemporary American Women Writers in Croatian Translation as well as contemporary Croatian Writers in English Translation accompanied the panel.

The event was organized in cooperation with the literary festival Književna karika / Literary Link - LitLink and the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb.
