New Technology and Persons with Print Disabilities

The10th annual international persons with disabilities round table conference was held at the Zagreb City Library, September 27, 2013. This year's round table was dedicated to the topic of technology and persons with disabilities. The American Corner coordinator participated at the conference with the presentation entitled Introducing e-readers and tablet devices – possibilities for library services for persons with disabilities in public libraries. The presentation highlighted the accessibility features of Kindle e-readers and iPad tablets available in the American Corner and the possibilities for introducing library services to persons with print disabilities.
