Skype for Grandparents on iPads

The iPad workshops (May 28 - June 1, 2015) were organized for library users who do not feel confident using the new technology. Nevertheless, they were motivated to start learning in order to communicate with their children, grandchildren, friends or neighbours.
The participants in the age group over 60 were introduced to Skype as a voice and video calling application which can also be used for text chatting. They mastered how to create an email address, install Skype application and connect to Skype.
