Social Justice & Black History in the U.S

Kahlil Epps, Fulbright ETA, will give a talk titled Social Justice & Black History in the U.S to a group of high school students and teachers from Gimnazija Sesvete. The Jelkovec Library, the American Corner's partner library, will be hosting the American speaker, and the Tolerance poster show curated by Mirko Ilić.

The talk will give an outline of the history of black people in the U.S. It will explain why Black History Month is celebrated in the U.S., and what it means to be a Black American. The talk will explore black lives then and now, with Q&A session.
