The American Corner hosts two groups of 5th grade students from O.Š. "Braća Radić'', Koprivnica, on a field trip to Zagreb to take part in a storytelling program.
The storyteller Srebrenka Peregrin will bring to life folk tales and legends of the North American continent in an hour-long storytelling performance titled Wild Tales from the Wide West.
Wild Tales from the Wide West
Bigger than life – America, the land where open spaces become cities, and people become heroes. Incorporating both the settlers' tall tales and those of Native Americans, it will bring to life the moments in which imagination and reality, history and the present day become irrevocably entwined.
About the Storyteller:
Srebrenka Peregrin has been writing and translating since the last century, and in the current one she has taken up storytelling, the interactive art of telling tales. She performs in libraries throughout Croatia, at SF&F conventions, and various events. She believes people are made for and by stories.
